Kylian Mbappé was photographed at a Hublot shoot in Geneva, Switzerland, unveiling his own watch: the Big Bang Reloaded Kylian Mbappé. Estimated price: around $31,500, and only 200 will be made.
Disclosure first. Mbappé is a Hublot ambassador, and this is a watch he made with the brand. It is the third Hublot of his on this site, after the Seddiqi edition and the Unico Titanium Diamonds, but the first one with his name on it.
What it is
The Big Bang is Hublot’s best-known watch, and Reloaded is its latest version. This edition is built around Mbappé’s own codes. The bezel is engraved at six o’clock with “Trust Yourself”, which he calls his playbook. The number 10, his shirt number and his lucky number, sits on the dial in King Gold.
The case mixes polished 18K King Gold with microblasted white ceramic. Hublot’s own description: white for clarity, King Gold for ambition. King Gold is Hublot’s red gold alloy, with a little platinum added so the colour stays warm and does not fade.
The dial and the straps
The dial is skeletonised, so you can see straight through to the chronograph movement. It is finished in matte anthracite, plated in ruthenium, with white accents to keep it readable.
It comes with two straps that swap in seconds with Hublot’s One Click system: a King Gold-toned fabric strap with a Velcro fastening, and a black-and-white rubber strap with the KM logo engraved on the inside where only the owner will see it.
Only 200 pieces
Limited editions with a famous name on them tend to be the Hublots that hold value best. Most Hublots sell below retail on the secondary market. A numbered 200-piece run tied to one of the most famous footballers in the world is a different story, and prices could well go up once they are all sold.

Worth saying
