Travis Kelce’s Cream Knit Outfit in Nashville: Get the Look
The original
$3,770
Our version
$152.65
Three pieces credited, $3,770, leaving a restaurant in Nashville. A knitted polo, matching knitted shorts, and white Air Force 1s.
Two of those three numbers behave very differently. The Givenchy two-piece is $3,650. The Nikes are $120 — an ordinary retail price for a shoe you can buy in any sports shop.
Also uncredited, and clearly visible: white Nike crew socks, pulled up. On an outfit this plain they are doing more than you would think.

Cream, short sleeved, open collar with two buttons, and a knit that changes direction across the chest so the surface catches light in different ways. It is a polo made like a jumper rather than a t-shirt.
The gold stripe at the cuff is the only colour in the entire outfit. Two bands, gold either side of white, on each sleeve. Remove it and this becomes a plain cream outfit; keep it and the whole thing reads as sportswear-referencing and deliberate.
One note on our alternative: it is a two-piece set, so the same $22.99 covers the shorts in the next section too. We have counted it once.
What you will not get at this price is the gold cuff banding. If you want it, a length of gold ribbon sewn at the cuff costs almost nothing and is the single highest-value alteration on this page.

Knitted shorts are an unusual garment and the reason this outfit works. They fall to just above the knee, sit loose rather than fitted, and carry the same textured knit panels as the polo.
That matching texture is the whole idea. A cream polo with plain cream chino shorts gives you a man dressed for golf. The same knit top and bottom reads as one garment split in two.
Loose, mid-thigh to knee, no pleats. If the knit has any visible panelling or ribbing, better.

This is the same shoe. Not an alternative, not a lookalike — a real Nike Air Force 1 in white, currently below the $120 list price.
We take the same position here as we did on our Michael Jordan page about Jordans. The Air Force 1 is one of the most counterfeited shoes ever made, and a fake AF1 is not a dupe — it is a fake. If you want this shoe, buy this shoe. It is not an expensive one.
All white, low top. The most ordinary version is the correct version.

White, crew length, pulled up so a clear band of sock sits between the shoe and the leg.
This is a deliberate choice and it changes the outfit. No-show socks with the same shoes and shorts would read as smart-casual. Visible white crew socks pull the whole look toward basketball and away from the country club, which is what stops a cream knitted set looking like golf clothing.
Pull them up. The gap of bare leg between sock and short hem is part of the proportion.
What it costs
Four pieces, $152.65 against $3,770. That is 96.0 per cent less.
But look at where the money actually is. The Givenchy two-piece was $3,650 and we replaced it with a $22.99 set — that single swap is almost the entire saving. The shoes and socks together cost us $129.66, more than the clothes.
Which is an unusual outcome and worth naming: on this page the cheap items are the designer ones, and the honest expense is a pair of Nikes and a pair of socks that are exactly what he is wearing.
