Madonna Outfit in London: Dolce & Gabbana Satin, Lace and a Corset
The original
$5,650
Our version
$169.94
Four pieces credited, $5,650, leaving a club in London. It is Madonna’s second appearance here, after her Adidas and Dolce & Gabbana look in Milan.
And it is Dolce & Gabbana again. The Italian house has dressed Madonna on and off stage since the early 1990s, including costumes for her tours, and two of the four credited pieces here are theirs. One of them is nineteen years old.
Black satin and lace, a leather corset, long lace gloves, fishnets, patent boots and crystal sunglasses — which is to say, Madonna in the uniform she more or less invented. Two of the most striking pieces, the corset and the gloves, were not credited, so we have priced them too.

SweatyRocks
Lace satin mini dress
$32.99
Save $1,867
Price checked 9 October 2026
Black satin, flared, with lace at the neckline and the hem — a slip dress cut short.
Satin and black lace together is a lingerie idea, and Dolce & Gabbana have built much of their identity on it. The combination itself is centuries old. Look for satin with lace trim at both ends, short and full enough to move.

Underbust Corset
Glossy faux leather underbust corset, lace-up
$38.99
The piece nobody listed
Price checked 9 October 2026
Glossy black leather, laced at the sides, worn over the dress to pull in the waist.
It is the most Madonna thing in the photograph — she made corsets-as-outerwear famous around 1990 — and it is not in the credits. A faux-leather underbust with a glossy finish gives you the same shape over any black dress.

Avidlove
Long lace fingerless gloves
$8.99
The piece nobody listed
Price checked 9 October 2026
Sheer black lace, fingerless, running from the knuckles to above the elbow. The cheapest piece to copy and one of the most dramatic.
The boots
She wore

Dolce & Gabbana
F/W 2007 patent baroque-heel knee-high boots
$800

DREAM PAIRS
Knee high round toe platform boots
$48.99
Save $751
Price checked 9 October 2026
Black patent, knee high, laced up the front, on a chunky platform.
These are an archive piece — from Dolce & Gabbana’s Fall/Winter 2007 collection, nearly two decades old. Like Sydney Sweeney’s 2002 Vivienne Westwood dress, the price is what collectors pay for that season, not a shop price. A patent knee boot on a platform gives the same line under fishnets.
The bag
She wore

Saint Laurent
Gaby vanity bag
$2,100
Price checked 9 October 2026
Same model, but the exact colour is not available. The link goes to it in brown suede.

Vanity Bag
Quilted mini vanity case with top handle
$31.99
Save $2,068
Price checked 9 October 2026
A small, boxy black quilted case with a top handle and gold hardware — the most expensive piece in the outfit.
The vanity-case shape and quilted leather are generic; the gold YSL initials belong to Saint Laurent, and we do not link anything that copies them. A plain quilted case gives you the shape without the logo. See more on our Saint Laurent page.
The sunglasses
She wore

Gucci
Crystal-embellished square-frame sunglasses
$850
Price checked 9 October 2026
You can wear

IKANOO
Oversized crystal square sunglasses
$7.99
Save $842
Price checked 9 October 2026
Huge square black frames with crystals set across the top. Worn at night, indoors and out — which is exactly how Madonna wears them.
What it costs
Six pieces, $169.94 against the $5,650 credited — and that includes the corset and gloves nobody put a price on. That is 97.0 per cent less.
And this is the rare outfit where the look really does belong to the person wearing it. Satin, lace, a corset over the top, long gloves, fishnets — Madonna has worn some version of this for over thirty years. None of it is anyone’s trademark except hers, and it costs almost nothing to borrow.
