Cristiano Ronaldo’s $1 Million Outfit at the Esports World Cup: Get the Look
The original
$1,006,200
Our version
$136.10
Five pieces credited, $1,006,200, at the Esports World Cup ceremony. It is the first outfit on this site to pass a million dollars, and it arrives as our fiftieth look.
One watch is $1,000,000 of it. The clothes — a black track jacket, a white t-shirt, black trousers and white trainers — come to $6,200. Take the watch off and Cristiano Ronaldo is wearing a tracksuit.
This is his third appearance here, after his all-black look and his diamond Patek Philippe.

A disclosure first. Ronaldo has a formal collaboration with Jacob & Co., built on a friendship with founder Jacob Arabo that goes back around twenty years. It produced the CR7 watch collection we covered on IShowSpeed’s page. When Ronaldo wears Jacob & Co., he is wearing a brand he is commercially tied to.
The Royal Baguette is a white-gold watch covered entirely in baguette-cut diamonds — the long rectangular cut — set edge to edge across the case, bezel, dial and bracelet, with a rose-cut diamond on the crown. Reports value it at around $960,000; the credit here rounds it to a million.
What you are paying for is the stones and the setting. Baguettes are unforgiving: every edge is straight, so every stone has to be cut to match its neighbours exactly, or the gaps show. That labour is most of the price.
As on every watch page here, there is no alternative. A diamond-covered watch at a low price is either a fake or crystal glass, and neither is a dupe.

Black, full zip, high stand collar, in a soft jersey rather than a stiff shell. Cut straight and slightly boxy, ending at the hip.
Two thousand three hundred and fifty dollars for a track jacket. There is no visible logo in this photograph and nothing to distinguish it from any black zip jacket at this distance.
Jersey, not nylon. The soft fabric is what makes it read as smart rather than sporty. Keep the collar standing.

Plain white, worn long enough that a band of it shows below the hem of the jacket.
That band of white is the one styling detail in the outfit, and it costs nothing to copy. Buy a tee slightly longer than the jacket, leave it untucked, and let it show.
Heavyweight rather than thin. A thin tee clings and the hem curls; a heavier one hangs straight.

Black, wide and fluid, with a pressed front crease and a slight break over the trainers.
Gucci calls these sports pants, but they are cut like tailored trousers, and that is the point. The crease is what lifts the whole outfit from gym wear to something you would wear to an awards ceremony.
Wide leg with a front crease. Drapey fabric over stiff.

White leather low-tops with the green-red-green stripe down the side.
That stripe is the part we do not copy. The Gucci Web — green, red, green — is a registered Gucci trademark, and a trainer reproducing it is a counterfeit, not a dupe. The same line we hold on the Louis Vuitton monogram.
What we have linked instead shares the idea rather than the branding. The Screener is deliberately made to look old — pre-scuffed, with a yellowed sole. Reebok’s Club C 85 Vintage does exactly the same thing, on a real court shoe from 1985: off-white leather, an aged sole, a retro shape. A real brand, doing the same trick, without borrowing anyone’s stripe.
What it costs
Four pieces, $136.10 against $1,006,200. That is 99.99 per cent less, and a number with that many nines means nothing at all.
The honest comparison is the clothing. The four garments cost $6,200, and we replaced them for $136.10 — 97.8 per cent less, an ordinary result for this site.
And the reason the watch dominates is worth saying plainly. This is a tracksuit worn with a pair of trainers. Its whole effect comes from the fit — the standing collar, the crease in the trousers, the band of white at the hem — and all three of those cost nothing extra to copy.
